We often hear stories and statistics in the media that small amounts of alcohol can be good for your health and can help you live longer. How we can tell what is healthy and how much is too much?

Alistair will set out to answer the question, “Why is alcohol bad for me?” He will explore the way alcohol works in our bodies and show how this can affect both our physical and mental health. He will also look at what the maximum recommended intake of alcohol is and consider whether small amounts of alcohol may be beneficial.
