About this talk

Public panel discussion as part of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities' annual London Critical Theory Summer School (22nd June to 3rd July 2026). The panel will confront contemporary global challenges including ongoing wars, inequality, genocide, migration policies, gender-based violence, racial oppression, climate crisis and economic collapse. The event explores the genealogy and reach of critical theory while encouraging intellectual elaboration and reflection on resistance and the pursuit of freedom and equality. The event will be recorded and livestreamed.
