About this talk

Public panel discussion as part of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities' annual London Critical Theory Summer School (22nd June to 3rd July 2026). The panel will address contemporary global crises including wars, inequality, genocide, migration policies, gender-based violence, racial oppression, climate crisis, and economic collapse. The discussion will explore the genealogy and reach of critical theory, resistance to oppression, and pathways toward freedom and equality. The event will be recorded and livestreamed.
