About this talk

This year, the Royal Academy of Arts welcomes Swiss architect Christian Kerez to deliver our Annual Architecture Lecture. Christian Kerez is an architect of space and possibility. If the practice is often thought about as being preoccupied by solid forms, the Swiss architect embraces a radical airiness. His remarkable projects – from House with One Wall in Zurich and the Oberrealta Chapel in Switzerland's Upper Rhine Valley to the Four Car Parks in Bahrain – illustrate a minimalist rigour that has made him a world-renowned contemporary architect. Join us to hear Christian Kerez talk about his globe-spanning projects and reflect on a fascinating career. The talk will be followed by a drinks reception.
