The Language of Music…The Music of Language

The Third St. Michael’s Colloquium. A day of fine discussion of the relationship between music and words to mark the centenary of the appointment of Harold Darke (1888-1976) as Organist of St Michael Cornhill. The Programme will include speakers Caroline Gill, Professor Francis Pott, The Revd Alice Goodman, Dr Simon Jackson and Professor Francis O’Gorman. Organ music will be played by the current Director of Music at St Michael’s, Mr Jonathan Rennert. The entrance fee includes lunch and a wine reception to conclude the day.
