Where Is Austin Tice? goes inside a multi-year investigation into one of America's most famous missing-person cases: the disappearance of American journalist Austin Tice in Syria. Fourteen years after Austin vanished, remarkably little is known about what happened to him. His mother, Debra, has never stopped searching. But when investigative journalists Josh Baker and Sara Obeidat begin following Austin's trail, they uncover secret documents, covert negotiations, intelligence operations and people who may know exactly what happened to him, who don't want the truth to come out. What unfolds feels less like a missing-person case, and more like a spy novel. The investigation takes them from the corridors of power in Washington DC to the depths of Syria's former security state where more than 100,000 people vanished. Then, after the fall of the Assad regime, a source hands Josh information that could unlock the mystery — with a simple instruction: "Find Austin." Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes. All ages. In person.
