About this talk
What does it truly mean to achieve a sustainable future — and what kinds of change will get us there? This event launches the publication of a new issue of the LSE Public Policy Review focused on how we understand sustainability, the systemic shifts required to realise it and their practical viability. The event invites a panel of policy and academic experts to discuss incremental versus transformative pathways to a sustainable planet and consider how large scale pro-environmental behavioural change can be fostered, but also the challenges to achieve this. Join us on campus or register to watch the event online at LSE Live. If you can't attend live, a video will be made available shortly afterwards on LSE's YouTube channel. This event is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2026.
