About this talk
In this talk, computer scientist and engineer Eiman Kanjo introduces tiny, embedded and sensor-driven AI, intelligent systems built on optimised hardware, specialist adaptive models and managed sensing, and in some cases collaborative and distributed architectures. These decentralised systems continuously sense, learn and adapt to the physical world with lower energy use and reduced cloud reliance, from drones to wearables for health self-management. How can we build AI that empowers rather than replaces? From privacy-preserving sensing to collaborative heterogenous robotic system, this talk explores how tiny AI could help create safer, smarter and more responsive environments, with people and trust at the centre.
