At a pivotal moment for international climate policy, the continent is setting the agenda on how climate action can support sustainable and resilient economic development. This public event will bring together influential voices from across policy, finance and academia to explore the next chapter of Africa's climate agenda. While international negotiations have long focused on developing frameworks and estimating the scale of climate finance required, many countries face a significant gap between commitments and the investment needed to deliver resilient, low-carbon growth.
