Join us for the final of a competition for young composers, aged 15-25, based in Oxfordshire.

The inspiration for this idea was Benjamin Britten’s ‘Six Metamorphoses after Ovid’ for solo oboe – and the final of the competition will in fact take place on the 100th anniversary of Benjamin Britten’s birth.

Judges Professor Robert Saxton, Martyn Harry and Mark Simpson will introduce the event, and Mark will play a selection of the shortlisted entries before the winner is announced.

Refreshments will be served.
