About the Oxford Energy Society:
The Oxford Energy Society is a vibrant student-run society which primarily acts to organise events relevant to the matters surrounding energy and climate change. As the only student society in Oxford dedicated to all energy areas, we endeavour to provide a platform for all points of view with the aim of stimulating discussion and broadening knowledge. We run many activities throughout the year including site visits, sponsors events, workshops and our popular weekly talks. Our talks have featured a range of speakers from academics, journalists, industry experts and CEOs of top energy companies. These talks are held every Wednesday during term time and are followed by drinks and nibbles with the speaker.
