Intellectual Property plays a vital role in the life of early stage businesses. In this talk Roy will cover different Intellectual Property protection mechanisms ranging from the complex (and expensive) world of patents to more immediate (and free) protection afforded by copyright. He will also cover Intellectual Property of a non-technical nature in the form of trademarks and share some related stories on the different ventures that have been supported by the software incubator which he manages.
