Mark Thompson, CEO of the New York Times Company, will be giving a lecture in the Sheldonian Theatre from 5.00 pm to 6.15 pm on Friday 17 March. He will be speaking about Trump, Brexit and the language of identity.
The John Donne lecture is an annual lecture held by Hertford College. Previous keynote speakers include Tony Hall on living with creativity, Lord (Gus) O’Donnell, President Mary Robinson on climate justice, Professor Paul Muldoon and Dr Toby Barnard.
