Selina Todd is lecturer in Modern History at Oxford and a Fellow of St Hildas College. She was educated at a comprehensive school in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and at the Universities of Sussex and Warwick. Her first publication Young Women, Work, and Family in England 1918-1950 published in 2005 won the Women\’s History Network Book Prize.
