As part of Rector Trainor’s Seminar Series, Professor Helen Watanabe-O’Kelly, Emeritus Fellow of Exeter College and Leverhulme Emeritus Fellow, will speak on the topic of ‘Royal Consorts Past and Present: What are they for?’

Professor Watanabe-O’Kelly main research interests are German literature and culture from the late 15th century to the early 18th century. She is the Project Leader of ‘Marrying Cultures: Queen Consort and European Identities, 1500-1800’.
