Roger Scruton will be discussing why philosophical thinking is needed in business, and why it in turn needs an input from the humanities.
About the speaker:
Professor Roger Scruton is a writer and philosopher who has published more than forty books in philosophy, aesthetics and politics. He is widely translated.
He is a Visiting Professor, at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford. Fellow of the British Academy and of the Royal Society of Literature and Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Centre, Washington D.C.
Please arrive at the School from 12.00. Lunch will be served from 12.15 with the talk starting promptly at 12.30.
