Oxford Women for Women International
On Saturday, March 8, International Women’s Day 2014, there will be a conference/workshop/celebration at St. Antony’s College, Oxford University. This conference will run from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. It will include presentations by assorted festival filmmakers, an international development expert, and several inspired students from Oxford University. There will be a empowerment workshop and celebration of youth films, submitted by students from around Oxford; and a talk by Dr. Sarah Fane, the Director of Afghan Connetion. To wrap up the festival and conference, director, Clementine Malpas, will screen her film The Parable of Gulnaz.
