Fifty years after its publication, The Selfish Gene continues to shape scientific thinking and inspire debate across biology and beyond. The evening will begin with a lecture by Alan Grafen FRS, Professor of Theoretical Biology. This will be followed by an on-stage interview with Professor Richard Dawkins, conducted by Professor Marian Dawkins, exploring the ideas behind The Selfish Gene and its influence over the past five decades. There will then be a live Q&A with the in-person audience.
