About this talk

Transport is electrifying, and the transition is accelerating. The question is not so much whether electricity is the future of energy for (most) transport, but rather what modes of electrically powered transport are available in which geographies and for whose use? How are the energy and transport systems integrated – and how does that shape or reflect the built and natural environments around them? What about the influence of automation and AI? This talk will consider how the transition to electrification of transport has taken off and research into and hopes for a fair, inclusive and just future for electric transport.
