Oxford Brookes Quilliam Society hosts Adam Deen to discuss his journey from Al-Muhajiroun to Quilliam; from Islamist-extremist to countering extremism. The talk will be chaired by the society leader Harvir Dhillion that will ask questions as the talk goes along. The event will end in a Q&A Session.

Al-Muhajiroun is an Islamist-extremist organisation that was banned in 2005, in the UK. Adam Deen had immersed himself in this organisation in his younger days, and very quickly became a leading figurehead within the ranks. He will discuss his experiences and talk about the importance of promoting universal values.
