Discovering Tutankhamun – Dr Paul Collins

Dr Paul Collins is one of the curators of the Ashmolean’s exhibition “Discovering Tutankhamun”.

This exhibition tells the story of one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. It explains the hunt for the tomb and the thrill of its discovery using Howard Carter’s original records, drawings and photographs, many of which have never been seen in public. Paul Collins will talk about the exhibition and how Tutankhamun continues to be a revolutionary figure three thousand years after he was born.
