This talk will explore what grief means to us personally. A model of bereavement will be discussed and the reasons for such varied responses to it will be examined. Ways to respond to and support a grieving friend will be looked at, ending with ways to keep ourselves well particularly at difficult emotional times.

This talk is delivered by Fenella Trevillion, Chair of Oxfordshire Cruse Bereavement Care.

Fenella’s background is working in the caring services and latterly being a Manager and Leader of a Mental Health Service. Following completion of an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change, Fenella has worked as an Executive Coach. For the past four years she has volunteered for Oxfordshire Cruse Bereavement Care, providing leadership and management support.
