The celebrated columnist and political/environmental campaigner George Monbiot joins forces with leading folk singer Ewan McLennan for a unique collaboration in words and music.
The venture originated in an article about the personal and social effects of loneliness that George wrote which immediately went viral. He and Ewan subsequently extended the ideas in the article into a series of songs that together make up a new album, Breaking The Spell of Loneliness.
This very rare live performance will feature Ewan performing the songs a cappella and accompanying himself on guitar and banjo, while George talks about the stories behind them.
Expect a unique and rousing interplay of songs and stories.
