Charles Moore is a journalist and former editor of the Daily Telegraph and The Spectator. After ten years of research and 300 interviews, he embarked on a three volume life of Margaret Thatcher.

The first volume of his bestselling biography of Margaret Thatcher, published in 2013, won the Elizabeth Longford Prize for Historical Biography, the HW Fisher Best First Biography Prize and Political Book of the Year at the Paddy Power Political Book Awards. The second volume of his biography of Margaret Thatcher, published in the autumn of 2015, is a detailed account of Thatcher’s life, as she saw it, from the summer of 1982 in the aftermath of the Falklands through to the general elections of 1983 and 1987.

From 5.00pm, LMH will be selling copies of both volumes in the lobby of Pipe Partridge Building. The event will start at 5.45pm in the Simpkins Lee Theatre and will finish at 7.00pm.
