At a time when perceptions are everything, setting a good example is far more powerful than mere words. At a time when the coverage of Muslims in the media hinges on events like Charlie Hebdo and ISIS, it is important to clarify what being a Muslim really means. Join us for a thought provoking talk by Shaykh Yahya Ibrahim followed by an open Q&A on what being a Muslim actually means.

This is a chance to really delve into the Muslim Character and extract life lessons we need to become better people. There will be an open Q&A at the end with a chance to clarify any questions you have about Islam in general.

Yahya Ibrahim is an experienced scholar and community leader in Perth, Western Australia. He is a regular lecturer to Muslim and Non-Muslim audiences around the world and is committed to spreading a message of anti-militancy, religious tolerance and moral universality. He teaches internationally as part of Al-Kauthar Institute.
