Blackwell’s is delighted to be hosting Professor Richard Dawkins at the Sheldonian Theatre to talk about the lastest volume in his autobiography, ‘Brief Candle in the Dark’
Professor Dawkins is an ethnologist, evolutionary biologist and writer. He is an emeritus fellow of New College, Oxford and was the University of Oxford’s Professor for public understanding from 1995 until 2008.

‘Brief Candle in the Dark’ explores Dawkins coming to prominence following the publication of the ground breaking ‘The Selfish Gene’ in 1976 and begins where his first volume, ‘An Appetite for Wonder’ finished.
