It is widely believed that humankind has disrupted the balance of nature. But what is the real evidence for this?

Although nobody would dispute our influence on the world around us, Andrew will seek to present this impact in the context of the changing ecology
of the world as a whole. He will show you the areas of greatest and least influence, with some surprising evelations. Agriculture is a key example but what other elements have changed habitats irreparably? Have we ever been in balance with the ecology of a region and as any other species been in similar balance?

Andrew Lack’s talk may leave you asking questions about the implications of his findings for the conservation and environmental movement as a whole.
