Benny Morris is Israel’s pre-eminent ‘New Historian’ – and currently serves as Professor of History in the Middle East Studies Department at Ben-Gurion University.
In his lecture, Morris will explore whether there was a jihadist element to the 1948 Arab military campaign against Israel. Morris has not spoken in the United Kingdom for a while, so this is a rare opportunity to see an important scholar of the Israeli-Arab conflict.
