Benny Morris is Israel’s pre-eminent ‘New Historian’. He is currently Professor of History in the Middle East Studies Department at Ben-Gurion University. The focus of his lecture will be his renowned scholarship on the causes of the 1948 Palestinian refugee problem.
Morris has not spoken in the United Kingdom for a while, so this is a rare opportunity to see an important scholar of the Israeli-Arab conflict.
