The seminar aims at providing the audience with a better understanding of Quebec’s political and constitutional realities through a compare and contrast exercise with respect to Scotland. The Quebec government point of view on intergovernmental affairs, its constitutional position and Quebec’s leadership role in the Council of the Federation, amongst others, will be addressed in a dialogue between Christos Sirros, Agent General for Quebec in the UK, and Professor Jim Gallagher.
