Continuing our programme of studying the less conventional forms of numismatics, Christopher Hill, medal specialist at Dix Noonan Webb, will give an overall picture of the variety of medals one can collect, the various strata that one can get from medal collecting as well as the numismatics behind medals. This talk will also provide an overview of how the hobby of medal collecting has fundamentally changed over the last 30 odd years.
