What’s the closest environment to space on our planet? Antarctica ranks high on the list. Scientists and technical staff have to live and work in isolated research stations, in small teams, in an extreme environment where their survival relies on their technical abilities, and rescue missions would take a while to reach them. Life on the Halley and Concordia research stations has been used by ESA as a technical and physiological testing ground for future manned space missions. Join engineer Alexander Finch and researcher Beth Healey on an adventure to one of the most extremes environments of our planet.
