To launch London Met’s LGBTQIA History month, we are having a free showing of ‘Pride’: a film inspired by the true story of a group of gay and lesbian activists who decide to support the families of the miners on strike in 1984 in rural Wales.
This heartwarming tale shows the strength of coming together across difference, with a humorous and political angle.
As well as viewing the brilliant film, we have Reggie Blennerhassett (who is one of the gay and lesbian activists the film is based on, and also a star of the film!) coming to answer any questions you have about the story.
This event is open to all and refreshments will be available before the film
