What’s going to be the Next Big Thing in psychology – and how could current psychological research affect your life in the future? What are we discovering about how our minds influence our behaviour?

During an entertaining evening at the Dana Centre, you’ll meet scientists whose research could inform the future of psychology.

To keep the experts on their toes we’ve added an element of competition. Throughout the evening you will judge their powers of persuasion. At the end of the night we’ll tally your votes and find out whose research could be the Next Big Thing in psychology!

To help you decide, we will be using a ‘speed geeking’ format for the event. It’s like speed dating, with small groups of audience members meeting each expert. You will have five minutes with each expert to hear their ideas and ask them probing questions about their field.
