This time the theme of the event is Confidence. The world is changing, and today’s women have more chances to succeed than previous generations. But in order to take advantage of new opportunities, we need to get better at promoting ourselves, believe that our skills are good enough and just go for it. Confidence does not have to be something you are born with: put it on and wear it like make-up!
During the celebration you’ll meet:
Sophie Campbell has been a freelance journalist for 25 years, writing about travel. Her favourite destinations are Argentina, Japan, Iran and Britain.
She writes a monthly column on UK heritage for the Telegraph and has written a book The Season about the history and traditions of the English social season, including Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Ascot, the Henley Royal Regatta and Wimbledon Fortnight.
Sophie is also a qualified London Blue Badge Tourist Guide and takes her clients on bespoke tours of London. She does not mind trekking from Chelsea to Highgate or from Westminster to the Isle of Dogs. Get an idea at Love-London.com
Kimberley Wilson is a chartered psychologist, balancing private practice with training and working within the NHS. She is trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychodynamic psychotherapy and works with clients with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship and other problems.
You’ll be forgiven if you recognise Kimberley (and her infectious smile) for her other passion: baking. Kimberley was the finalist of the Great British Bake-Off 2013 and wowed the judges and the audience alike with such masterpieces as the pecan & rosemary caramel apple pie and challah bread, flavoured with saffron, garlic and z’atar.
Kimberley’s food philosophy revolves around friends, family, social occasions and … adventure. You’ll find her favourite recipes on www.butimhungrynow.com.
Kay Montano began her career as a make-up artist at just 16 years old. Since then she has worked with the world’s top models, actresses and photographers including Eva Herzigova, Jennifer Lawrence, Thandie Newton, Rachel Weisz, Helmut Newton and Bruce Weber, to name a few.
In September 2013 she teamed up with British actress Thandie Newton to create ThandieKay, a beauty website which celebrates cultural diversity and natural beauty, enhanced not disguised by make-up. “Beneath the myths I’ve helped create, I’ve learned a lot about gold pots at the end of rainbows because I’ve polished, painted and gilded them… ThandieKay is about liberation, celebration and living life to the full.”

Doors open at 7pm for drinks and socialising, followed by the interviews and Q&A at 7.30pm.
This celebration is taking place at the beautiful Grace Belgravia, a private women’s club with state-of-the-art facilities for fitness, beauty, diagnostic and preventative medicine as well as a library, relaxation areas and a club bar – an oasis of wellness in the heart of Belgravia.
Tickets must be bought online in advance. Women only, sorry, gents!
