Globalisation has increasingly led to questions arising about the relationship between global corporations and local, that is primarily national, taxation. This lecture will examine issues such as the development of global tax competition and its impact on corporate behaviour and national tax policies, as well as seeking to explore how global corporations could be taxed, and as importantly whether national governments can work together in negotiating international tax policy.
