The Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) are pleased to host an Israel Forum with Guest Speaker Mr Dan Meridor. “Israel and the Changing Middle East – Threats and Opportunities”
Dan Meridor was born in Jerusalem in 1947. He holds a law degree from the Hebrew University. Having served as Secretary of the Cabinet for Prime Ministers Begin and Shamir, Dan Meridor was elected in 1984 to the Knesset. He served as a Member of the Knesset 1984-2003 and between 2009-2013. He has fulfilled several roles, including Chair of Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, Member of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee and the Ethics Committee. Dan Meridor has held ministerial positions such as Minister of Justice, Finance and Intelligence, and Deputy Prime Minister in the Israeli Government.
