This is a truly inspirational talk for King’s staff, students and the general public by former NASA astronaut, Ken Ham, accompanied by a presentation from Dr David Green (Senior Lecturer of Human & Aerospace Physiology). Dr Green will give a run through ‘the senses’ and what they perceive in the environment of a space craft. Dr Green’s scientific talk will be complimented by the amazing personal experiences of Ken Ham, a former NASA shuttle commander, who has twice spent time on the International Space Station and who flew the penultimate flight on Space Shuttle Atlantis (STS-132).
