Traditionally, we perceive the built environment to be inert and lifeless, but this is being challenged as our world is increasingly inhabited by artificially intelligent systems, contextually aware gadgets, robotic agency and sensory spaces. Ruairi Glynn will present his recent commission for the Tate Modern and talk about his practice bringing together Perceptual Psychology, Interaction Design, Puppetry and Robotics as part of his research at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
