DES2465_Cafe Scientifiqe motifThe resistance of some strains of bacteria to antimicrobials is well documented, but is enough being done to develop new drugs without these issues? Is there anything preventing us from making new antibiotics? What does our future look like if we can’t find new drugs?

Discussion will begin with a short talk from Dr Christophe Corre, a Royal Society University Research Fellow at the University of Warwick.

This event is free to attend and open to all. No tickets are required. Doors open at 6.00pm and seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Café Scientifique events aim to provide a forum for the debate of scientific ideas. Free and open for all to attend, join scientists and other specialists to explore current issues in science over a drink. Audience participation is strongly encouraged.
