This is a unique opportunity to hear Scottish artist Charles Avery discuss his epic project, The Islanders and his intriguing new sculpture, Tree no. 5 (from the Jadindagadendar), as part of Parasolstice – Winter Light at Parasol unit.
Charles will be in-conversation with Simon Groom, Director of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. They will be discussing his recent works and exhibitions at Ingleby Gallery and the Edinburgh Arts Festival commission as well as exhibiting at GEM, Museum of Contemporary Art in the Hague.
