Land-use and land cover change is a primary cause of biodiversity loss, the second largest source of global carbon emissions, and has a major impact on the water cycle and climate. This meeting will highlight the anthropgenic causes of land use change, its impact on biodiversity and ecosystem services and present the new Land Use Forum London network. Join us to discuss how non-market and public benefits, such as wildlife conservation, could be incorporated into future land-use planning.
