If you’ve ever felt disheartened by the state of the world, Peace Direct is hosting an evening event to share a different story, one of peace, positivity, and progress. On 30 November, for one night only, join us to hear from local people building peace in two of the world’s toughest war zones: Nigeria and Somalia.
These brave local peacebuilders are here in London to share their incredible stories from war zones, and those of the people whose lives they transform.
There will be thought-provoking words from spoken-word poet, Bridget Minamore, and canapes from London’s only Nigerian Tapas restaurant.
The news is full of reports of war, violence, and suffering. But this is not the only story. Come to this unique one night only event to hear the stories of local people stopping violence and building peace in war zones. These stories don’t make the headlines, but their actions change the world. This is your chance to hear them, first hand.
Tickets are available from Eventbrite. Get yours in time and don’t miss out on this unique event.
