The Trouble Club is a club for the new generation of women working and playing in London and we want to create that rare thing: a working and social place where women are in the majority. It is a place to be industrious, be argumentative, be sociable and be unusual. And where, on stage, you will find some of the best speakers in town, often from professional fields in which they are in a minority.

At Two Can Play At That Game, we’re asking: Call of Duty or Candy Crush Saga? Destiny or Dragon Age? Most importantly – Minecraft? Whether you’re already an addict or you’ve never dared touch a console in your life, there’s no escaping the fact that we’re undergoing a Gaming Revolution. And contrary to stereotypical assumptions, 52% of the 33.5million gamers in Britain are women. Only fair, then, to ask three of the UK’s most respected video gamers – Helen Lewis, Ellie Gibson and Leigh Alexander – to pick up their Playstation controllers and tell us why and how to get on top of your game in the digital age.
