The Trouble Club is a club for the new generation of women working and playing in London and we want to create that rare thing: a working and social place where women are in the majority. It is a place to be industrious, be argumentative, be sociable and be unusual. And where, on stage, you will find some of the best speakers in town, often from professional fields in which they are in a minority.

It was Telegraph columnist Bryony Gordon who, back in June, first drew our attention to one of the greatest secrets of the beautiful game: women actually enjoy football too. Of course, if tradition dictates a female ambivalence for the sport, then we at the Trouble Club have a duty to subvert that tradition.

Time to put three passionate football pundits on the stage, and watch as they prove themselves more than a match for male fans. Bryony joins Nancy Dell’Olio, who certainly knows more than average about football and Chelsea and England striker Eniola Aluko, who recently made her debut on Match of the Day. The three will discuss their experiences in the world of football, before screening the week’s highlights for some in-depth and generalised analysis.
