Dominique Senequier, President, Ardian

Dominique Senequier is internationally recognised as a predominant figure in private equity.
In 1972, she was one of the first seven women to be admitted to the École Polytechnique before beginning a career as an insurance commissioner at the French Ministry of Economy. Dominique Senequier joined the AXA group in 1996 when she founded AXA Private Equity, which became Ardian in 2013.
She was awarded the prestigious Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the French state in 2012.
The Cass M&A Research Centre (MARC), founded in 2008, is the only research centre at any major business school focused on both the research and practice of mergers and acquisitions providing insights into the entire M&A field, from deal origination to completion, from financing to integration and from emerging markets to the boardrooms of the world’s largest companies.
