Hosted in our West End hub – The Shed – this free ShedTalk gives three speakers 12 minutes each to tell a story around the word ‘flourish’. Each speaker has a story, strategy, experience or viewpoint that will raise eyebrows, prompt debate and light a fire in your belly!

Kate Griggs

Kate is untapping the world’s potential with Sir Richard Branson via Untap.it. Founder and CEO of renowned charity Xtraordinary People, she’s also been instrumental in transforming dyslexia education in the UK, creating a global shift in opinion and attitude.

Dr. Gerard Lyons

Gerard is economic advisor to Boris Johnson and an expert on the world economy, macro-economic policy and the financial markets. Formerly chief economist and group head of global research at Standard Chartered, in 2010 and 2011 Bloomberg ranked him the number one global forecaster. A regular speaker at major financial conferences and meetings, including the World Economic Forum and Davos, his new book, The Consolations of Economics, was published in April.

Jimmy Garber

Jimmy is the founder of UK3Lions and leads a merry band of former professional footballers, celebrities and pop stars in arranging football fundraising events around the globe. He grew up in Northern Ireland and Scotland before returning to his birthplace of Russia where he became the country’s most popular hip-hop star in the 1990s.
