Skye D11851This meeting will provide an update on the current state of reintroduction biology, both from a science and policy base. We hope to encourage a bridging of the research-management gap by showing how key leaders in this field are approaching translocation. We will take a longer term perspective on management of established populations and provide an insight on more controversial forms of translocation, namely assisted colonization. Our scope will be global but we also focus on local issues using case studies from those developing best practice guidelines and in leading research directions.
