The European Lung Foundation is holding a free event for members of the public to learn more about their lungs. Attendees will have the chance to hear from – and ask questions of – some of the best minds in respiratory health.
Topics for discussion include:
• What is the risk of poor outdoor air quality to me? Professor Jonathan Grigg, Centre for Genomics and Child Health
• Your lungs at work – keeping them healthy Professor David Fishwick, The Centre for Workplace Health
• How to live smoke-free and why? Dr Nick Hopkinson, Imperial College and Royal Brompton Hospital
The event coincides with the arrival of the European Respiratory Society’s International Congress in London, which attracts 25,000 healthcare professionals from around the world to discuss breakthroughs in lung research and care.
Light refreshments will be served at the start of the evening.
