Jewellery Specialist Anabel Yorke will explore how jewellery design has changed over the centuries from the 1500s to the 1950s because of technical advances, availability of materials, the influence of social and economic events – and the clothes with which they were worn. This will be followed by jewellery valuations by Anabel for any visitors wanting to know more about their own pieces. Refreshments will be served.
